Keeping our focus on the sunny side!
Welcome back to My Silver Lining

When we started this blog/magazine in 2020, it was our intention to shed some positivity on a very bleak time in our nation. The Covid pandemic was at its height, people were dying and our nation was divided. So, to keep our own mental health from spiraling, my sister Diane McAndrew, my mother Ethel Perricone and I decided to entertain folks with fun stories about people, art, cooking, gardening, health etc. The challenge was trying to publish weekly information while working 40 hours at a job. So, after six months, we decided to fold the website up and call it a night.

But we missed it. So, we’re back and hoping once again to connect with our readers with more upbeat stories and fun tips about this that and the other – but now on a monthly basis. We can do this!

We’ve also added a junior writer to our tiny staff and would love to have reader participation from all of you. Give us story ideas from your neck of the woods or write something up yourself. We want to entertain and spread happiness that is still sorely missing in our society. Help us do that in this very small way.

Sit back and enjoy our sliver of cheer in “My Silver Lining.”
