Welcome to
My Silver Lining
Keeping our focus on the sunny side!
Welcome back
After a three year hiatus, we are back to work on My Silver Lining and putting the past behind us. Our positive lifestyle blog/magazine was a mission that my sister, my mother, and I created in 2020 during the pandemic to offer hope and humor at a dark time in our lives here in America and abroad. We profiled people, put together recipes, gardening stories, featured artwork, and gave health tips every month.
In 2023, when we lost our beautiful mother, Ethel Perricone — a gentle soul and wonderful writer — we were suddenly pushed back into that darkness. But life, in spite of grief and weariness, has a way of insisting we move forward. And that is what we are doing right now.
Each month, we will be publishing new material about people, places, and things that we hope will bring some joy to your day — a little pep in your step. My Silver Lining is a lighter approach to life and we are publishing it for all you gentle people out there. Because no matter where we are in our lives – no matter how difficult the days may be, if we really try, we can find the sunny side to all situations. We can exist somewhere along the silver lining.
So, sit back, relax, and put a smile on your face. This tiny space in time is just for you. Enjoy!
