What's On Your Mind?

Dear Di, Dear Lor,

My question, or problem is that when it comes to football season, (or any other sports season for that matter), I have two children that attended rival universities.  And OMG, what a stressor this is!

When the families get together for games, we go into it thinking this will be a fun game, when in reality, everyone is stressing over every play.

I really try to stay neutral, but, my heart truly leans in one direction because I lived on campus of one of the universities for a few years, And you kind of get involved in the culture and excitement, right!?!?

I mean, even when they loose, you stand behind your team, right?  So what would you do at a party with family and friends if you were a house divided??

Dear Writer....

Well, I would have to say, I would try to stay neutral throughout the game, when in reality, (and in my head) I will be cheering on my team through the bitter end.....BUT if the other team is leading and wins., would I root for them? Darn RIGHT!  This Momma isn't going to cause friction between rivalries now, is she?
